Bleeds were managed by intravenous infusion in 73.9% of patients, 16.9% with subcutaneous infusion, 2.3% with transdermal, 0.7% with topical and 0.7% by intermittent infusions. Routine prophylaxis was received by 12.5% of patients and of these, 35.2% were started during follow-up. In Spain, severe haemophilia is common in young adults and patients are frequently treated with on-demand treatment. Routine prophylaxis was rarely used, being started during follow-up in a minority of patients.
